The fancy footwork of a grandfather helped police in Ohio capture an armed suspect who was trying to escape.
The man, identified only as "Bill" was waiting for his granddaughter outside a library in Columbus when he heard sirens and saw the chase.
When he spotted the suspect fleeing, he cleverly stuck his foot out behind him, tripping the man over and helping officers catch him.
Columbus police said Bill's intervention may have saved the suspect's life, as they were able to catch up with him without shots being fired.
The suspect was carrying a handgun loaded with 29 rounds, which fell to the ground when he was tripped, they said. It was recovered by police.
He was arrested and taken to Franklin County Jail, according to NBC news.
A statement from the force said: "Community involvement, be it by courage, bravery and/or fancy footwork, helped take a criminal off the streets of Columbus."
