The Queen attended church in Sandringham on Sunday morning after the Duke of Edinburgh spent his second night in hospital.
Her Majesty wore a green coat and hat for her visit to St Mary Magdalene church, where she is also expected to worship on Christmas Day.
She was accompanied by the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their son Viscount Severn.
Prince Philip was admitted to the King Edward VII hospital in central London on Friday for treatment on what Buckingham Palace described as a "pre-existing condition", adding that it was a "precautionary measure".
He is reported to have been flown to London by helicopter, and to have been laughing and joking with staff.
One report in The Sun quoted a royal source saying the Duke had a fall recently, while the Daily Mail said he had been battling a flu-like condition.
He is expected to remain in hospital for a few days.
The Queen has kept to her schedule, leaving London for Sandringham on Friday, where the Duke has spent most of his time since retiring from public duties in August 2017.
Her Majesty and her three heirs have been pictured making Christmas puddings in the Music Room at Buckingham Palace.
The puddings were baked as part of The Royal British Legion's Together at Christmas initiative.
