British nationals: Sudan's situation 'extremely grave', says Africa Minister Andrew Mitchell

More than 1,200 personnel were involved in the "highly complex" operation which was completed yesterday. Mitchell stressed that the safety and security of British nationals in Sudan is the priority, with all UK citizens asked to register their presence with the Foreign Office.
