Infected blood scandal victims were 'betrayed' by NHS and government, says inquiry chair

Infected Blood Inquiry chair, Sir Brian Langstaff, said that the victims of the scandal were 'betrayed' by the NHS, adding that the government 'compounded' their agony after stating that 'nothing wrong had been done'.
