Israel-Hamas war: Freed hostages welcomed in Israel as Palestinians celebrate release of prisoners

Hamas militants freed 17 more hostages, including 14 Israelis. In turn, Israel released 39 Palestinian prisoners, all young men.

Hundreds of Israelis draped in flags cheered the convoy of released hostages as they arrived from the Gaza Strip. Crowds also celebrated in the West Bank as they welcomed some of the prisoners released by Israel.
