Israel has 'more or less' secured border communities near Gaza, IDF spokesman
Israel's military says it has re-established control of its communities on the Gaza periphery. Earlier reports indicated as many as eight areas were still contested between Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) and Hamas militants.
