Ukraine war: Remains of Mariupol drama theatre targeted by Russian airstrike

Ukrainian officials said Russian forces struck the theatre two days ago, despite the word "children" being written on the ground outside in Russian. Russia's defence ministry denied targeting the building.

Rescuers have been working to remove debris of the destroyed theatre in Mariupol. Hundreds of Ukrainians, including women and children, were thought to be sheltering inside the theatre after their homes were destroyed.
